Corey truly enjoyed your class, Mr. Zimmer. You really polished his skills. He took the road test the day after the classroom portion of the course and received a perfect score. He said he felt very prepared for the road course and knew the answer to every question the examiner asked and we owe that to you. Thanks again so much. Brigett Brown (Mother, Dutch Fork High), Sept. 1, 2010

Mr. Zimmer's easy going personality, patience, and enthusiasm for teaching all helped me to develop the confidence I desperately needed to pass the driving test. With both knowledge and humor, his ability to relate to any type of driver from the novice all the way up to expert level was amazing. Thank you so much! Kourtland Haile (18, Dutch Fork High graduate), August 12, 2010.

WE CAN'T THANK MR ZIMMER ENOUGH! He went above and beyond the call of duty to help our 17 year old son, Brandon, obtain his driver's license. He is patient, knowledgeable, accommodating, and overall an excellent instructor. More importantly, he really cares about his students. We believe our son was less nervous with him than he would of been with us. Needless to say, our son passed on the first try! We couldn't be more pleased. Mike and Debbie McCaslin (Parents, Chapin High), July 30, 2010

After taking Driver's Ed at the high school and not passing the test for his license, we sent our son Austin driving with Richard. After just 2 sessions he passed his road test! We will not waste the money and time on the high school course with our daughters when they are old enough, we will just send them to Dutch Fork Driving School! Deb & Jeff Greene (Parents, Dutch Fork High), July 2, 2010

Trust me, there is NO way one would go wrong having Richard train your son or daughter. I just wish he'd been around for my daughter Alli's older brothers. Mike Johnson (Father, Chapin High) April 22, 2010

Mr. Zimmer was very accommodating with our schedules to ensure my son, Ryan, got the training time he needed to take his road test on the first day he was eligible. He passed with flying colors and has been driving alone with a real sense of independence. Thank you so much Mr. Zimmer for everything you did. The car sessions with Mr. Zimmer helped me to nail down the finer points of driving. The class session allowed me to refresh the basics for safety in a car, as well as learn some rather interesting techniques on everything from how to change a tire to the rules about stopped school buses. I doubt that I would have passed the driving exam with as much confidence. Caleb Little (16, Irmo High) February 1, 2010

Richard Zimmer of the Dutch Fork Driving School went above and beyond our expectations to ensure that my son Eric had every possible tool and knowledge to be successful at this important rite of passage, obtaining his driver's license within my son's demanding schedule. Eric's success on his first attempt, in a manual transmission vehicle at that, is a testimony to the excellent training he received from Mr. Zimmer. Victoria Reed (Mother, Columbia) Oct. 16, 2009 |

"Mr. Zimmer is easy going, patient, and makes driving easy and fun. To be honest he was better than my parents. The 8 hour class is also easy, and helps you to be familiar with what to do in situations and how to handle your car with more poise." "Thank you so much Mr. Zimmer, thanks to you I got my License!" |

From the first time meeting Mr. Richard Zimmer, I was made to feel very comfortable in my decision to have my son enroll in his course. At first I thought, 'An 8 hour course, no way'. But when my son had completed the classroom portion, he said it was not bad at all and that Mr. Zimmer made the time go by quickly and kept it informative and interesting. I would also like to thank Mr. Zimmer for his willingness to schedule driving times that made it convenient for both me and my son. He went out of his way to work around our schedules. He made sure that he spent enough time on the ins and outs of the actual driving test and made sure that my son was prepared. He'd even give little 'pointers' to help remember key testing items. I firmly believe that this instruction helped my son do as well as he did on the test! If you are having trouble deciding on a driving school for your son or daughter, I would highly recommend Dutch Fork Driving School! |

I asked Caroline (my daughter) this morning on the way to the DMV if she thought Mr. Zimmer had prepared her for the driving test as well as for any type of situation on the road. She said that he was "GREAT!!!!" and "Mom, he was really cool!" Straight from the mouths of babes! As a mother, I sat outside the DMV on the bench looking out towards the test area with tears in my eyes! Having to let my little one grow up! Caroline easily passed the test with confidence. Thank you Mr. Zimmer. |

Richard Zimmer was a great instructor for my 15 year old twins. He makes the instruction time interesting and commands the respect of the young people he teaches. He is very meticulous about every detail of driving. You can entrust your teen to the care of Mr. Zimmer. My kids thought he was cool and enjoyed the training experience. I know they are safer drivers because of Mr. Zimmer's instruction. Also, he returns phone calls promptly! Dutch Fork Driving School is the best choice of driving instruction in Columbia, hands down! |

With so many driving schools to choose from and without knowing much about any of them, we chose the one closest to home. I have to say we made the right choice. From the beginning Mr. Zimmer was willing to work around my son's busy soccer schedule, even picking him up for his first lesson at the soccer fields and returning home after. The 8 hour classroom instruction was informative, but yet held the attention of a 15 yr old (not an easy task.) Mr. Zimmer's demeanor in the car gave my son the guidance he needed to do things correctly, while also giving him the confidence that he could do it on his own. Mr. Zimmer also prepared us for what would happen at the DMV. He explained to my son exactly what would happen on the road test, so he was not nervous at all. I also got a chuckle when the lady at the DMV said "Here, sit down and fill this out". Of course Mr. Zimmer had already given us the form and had us fill it out, so we were ready to go. My son passed his driving test easily on the first try. Thank you Richard for your patience, guidance and kindness during this exciting time for my son, and this panic filled time for myself. You truly helped us both. I had no hesitation in recommending you to my nephew who is also in need of driver's training. Jennifer Curnow (mother, Irmo) Sept. 1, 2009. |

"The experience I had through my course with Mr. Richard Zimmer's Dutch Fork Driving School was unparalleled to my previous driving experiences."

"Unlike my often impatient parents, Mr. Zimmer's expertise in calming and instructing nervous drivers was a major factor to my driving success. Through his extensive program I not only exceeded the amount of knowledge needed to complete the test, but learned the true meaning of being a safe driver on the roads of Irmo and Dutch Fork as well as the roads of life." |
||
"If you haven't taken a Drivers Education course, look no further; the quality of Mr. Zimmer's class and driving course will more than prepare you for the roads to come - and hopefully get your parents off your back about irresponsible driving." |
